Historietimene mine går like sakte som det å ikke få sove. I går løp jeg til bussen og i dag sto jeg opp en time for sent. Det føles like trist å stille inn alarmen på telefonen på klokka 5.30 hver gang, og like godt og stille den inn til 10.30 i helgene, bare fordi det er hele fem timer senere.
Jeg skriver en oppgave om filosofi og om vi kan stole på sansene våre, dette forvirrer hodet mitt mye, men jeg tror jeg skal klare å holde tankene mine mer eller mindre over vannet.

Jeg savner å svømme.

Nesten hver morgen våkner jeg til en tåkebelagt fjord, men etterhvert som som sollyset kommer inn i lufta forsvinner tåka og jeg kan se hvor mye høsten har tatt over. En annen grunn til at jeg vet det er høst er at Plantasjen har sendt ut reklame om at de har salg.

Jeg nærmer meg nå halvveis i Muleum. Den brune skinnveska mi må snart vike plassen for den svarte ryggsekken min, jeg har ikke plass til alle bøkene jeg trenger i veska lenger. Fenomenet heter lekser. Muleum er egentlig en veldig fin bok, den er nesten kvadratisk og det liker jeg ganske godt.

Tankene mine roter seg fast i et filosofisk grums for tiden, for å prøve å få orden på det hører jeg på Sofies Verden. Hjernen min prøver stadig å finne nye veier tankene mine kan gå, jeg vil ikke ha noen tenkevaner. Jeg har Sofies Verden på lydbok, så jeg har alle filosofihistoriedelene på mp3'en min slik at jeg får litt orden i grumset på bussen på vei til skolen hver morgen før dagen begynner.

Tankene mine løper fra meg!

For et par uker siden begynte vi med særemne i norsk. Jeg skal gjøre et temastudium om "individet mot samfunnet". Jeg kommer til å gjøre dette innenfor tre av Erlend Loes bøker, Doppler, Tatt av kvinnen og sannsynligvis Muleum. Muleum må bare leses først slik at jeg er sikker på at det passer til temaet. Men sålangt ser det ut til at det passer fint.

Kameraet mitt kommer snart tilbake fra sykehuset, det har vært der i snart en måned så det skal bli fint å se det igjen.

Jeg grubler nå seriøst på om jeg kanskje skal lese Knausgård, bare av en ren nysgjerrighet.

I've finally gotten my student calendar for the year. I'm extremely addicted to it and I don't anything unless it says so in the calendar. Today I have my first yoga class this season, I'm doing power yoga at Yogabode. The denim shirt I'm wearing was bought in Tallinn and it's got this little pocket that just fits my cellphone and a pen, making me feel a little more like a grown-up girl.

Going back to school tomorrow, this time to Nordkjosbotn. It will be great to meet all the great people there again, and I know I am going to hate to get up 5.30 again...
I'm constantly writing more and more these days, seeing the pen flowing over the paper again feels rather good. Not quite sure whether or not I should go back to writing in Norwegian, as I'm no longer in the IB. Guess I'll just have to see how much I'm going to miss writing lots of English everyday.

I couldn't stop baking yesterday so I made crackers and lots of bread rolls, I'll make muffins later today if I'm still in my baking mode.
Tomorrow I'm going back the dorm for the last time, it's fantastic and sad at the same time. Just like last year, the year has past really quick and yet I've gotten to know so many great people. Now I just have to figure out what to do in the fall. And no, there has not been any improvement on my ability to decide yet.

the first thing I do when I get out of bed is to take a look out the window. Today I observed that the clouds were moving rather quick, as they did yesterday.
I spend my days at school sitting in group room 4 writing my extended essay. My final day at school is on Tuesday and I'm coming home Wednesday evening. It's going to be strange to live at home again. Still don't know what to do next year though, hopefully my ability to decide will get a massive kick and everything will sort itself out.

Sometimes I wish I was sitting in a coffee shop a sunny day in England, writing small texts using only inspiration, pen and paper. I would drink tons of cups of coffee and then maybe have some ice cream, just to get the exact same feeling you got when you and your friends ate ice cream on the grass outside last summer. After writing some pages I would put the pen and the paper into my vintage, leather bag, walk down the street and enter a vintage store. In the vintage store I would spend some time wandering around with my bag on my shoulder and flip through all the lovely, floral and colourful dresses I know I would find in there. Next of course would be the shoes, a hunt to find the perfect pair in my size. If I found something I loved I might buy it, but only if I truly loved it. Later I would wander home to the small but light apartment I was renting.

- I drink 3-4 cups of green tea from a green cup every day.

- I eat almost half a green cucumber every day.

- I eat 1-2 green apples every day.

- My lipbalm is the green one with aloe vera from lypsyl.

Today I got an e-mail from Kari Birkely, the marketing coordinator at Nerstranda (a mall in Tromsø), telling me that I had won a gift certificate on 1500 NOK at Nerstranda. I participated in a competition called "vær din egen stylist" (be your own stylist) where you had to send them a picture of yourself wearing an outfit you had styled yourself. I participated with the pic in the post below. I'm probably going to spend it on a bag I can use at school, as the one I use now is falling apart, and maybe some summer clothes :)

This morning I realised that I had not worn my yellow converse in ages, so I put them on wore them the entire day combined with red, wollen socks^^

I now only drink one cup of coffee a day, instead of my earlier two. The reason for my decreased caffeine addiction is probably the sun. Just gotta love it.

We have tomorrow off from school, so I'm going home today, I'm totally going to make waffles or something else good. I don't think I've had waffles since christmas.

My Norwegian oral exam has been moved 'til today, I'm not very freaked out, yet.

Fram til jeg var halvveis gjennom sjette klasse skrev jeg bokstaven Ø med streken fra venstre til høyre, og ikke med streken fra høyre til venstre slik som det skal være. Today I realised how much I missed listening to the radio. I listened to P.I.L.S. on P1 today and that programme is awesome. It tells you about the most peculiar stories behind great songs from the 60's, 70's and later. At Finnfjordbotn the radio reception sucks, but that's probably because of the brick walls.

So, I’m now seriously considering not doing the IB next year. This is due to the fact that in the IB, it’s much harder to get good grades than in the Norwegian system. And as I do not yet know what I want to study, I want to have as many options open as possible. But with bad grades from the IB I’ll be closing many doors. So I’m doing as always do when I don’t know what to decide, I make a list, pros and cons. I'm going to miss lots of people anyway. What to do... ?

Yesterday we started algebra in maths, I happen to love algebra^^ But to the point; the first sentence in the chapter conserning algebra was:

The hallways in the dorm are freezing these days, I blame the brick walls! So we're all keeping our doors closed so we don't let out to much of our desired warmth from our rooms.

Yesterday evening at 21:30 at my homeplace Storsteinnes, a fire started in the community house, svimming pool, sportshall and the sportsclub's clubhouse, which are all one building. The people in the houses closest around were evacuated, including my family(They've now moved back). The building is now totally destroyed after burning the whole night.
I find this incredibly sad, I don't know how much time I've spent in this building doing activities like handball, football, dancing, acting and many other things in connection with school. I learned to swim in the swimming pool and I had my confirmation in the clubhouse together with my cousin.
At least we still have the memories.

I spend my days cleaning my closet, aka throwing out everything I suddenly realise I don't actually need, making room for the clothes that have been staying in Finnfjordbotn and are now home for christmas. Eirin and Ingvild will step by later today, we're going to exchange christmas presents and drink tea.

Tomorrow it's christmas eve, my grandfather will spend it with us, and I know it will all be lovely.

The holiday has officially started :D I just got home from Finnfjordbotn after traveling for 2 and a half hours due to extremely late busses. Tomorrow I'll be going to Tromsø to buy the very last christmas presents, I'm going to try to not buy much else and rather just walk around and try clothes(and shoes!) on. I'll do my best.

When I come home I'll start my a monster-cleaning of my room and my closet, they both desperately need it. Later I will try to turn into the book-reading, magazine-reading, tea-drinking, novel-writing and yoga-everyday girl I used to be, before the IB stressed the word "calm" out of me.

There will be schoolwork during the holiday, but not just yet, I don't feel like starting doing that work right now. Our Norwegian teacher told us to start thinking about our exam, the IOP(Individual Oral Presentation), which we'll have in the middle January.

Hopefully, my fashion inspiration will return and the blogging will increase as I don't have to think about school(yet)^^

In English we're ahead of the curriculum, so today everybody are presenting something personal, like a hobby or an interest or something. I am going to talk about stilettos :D Some history, designers and some stuff in general about stilettos. Of course I'm also bringing a pair of stilettos to look at x) I like English^^ The pair on the picture is designed and created by Roger Vivier for Christian Dior in the 50's.

Today was the day for Jimmy Choo for H&M :D Karoline and I came to the H&M store in Tromsø(Nerstranda) at 8:30(Polina was there slightly earlier though), at that time there were about 10 people there. As time passed by and we were closing to 10:00, there were lots people there and I was quite surprised that there were so many people there as this was in Tromsø. After I saw pictures from other cities in the rest of the world, I think it was good that my closest H&M store was in Tromsø.

As we were three of the first 20 people, we got in the first group(green bracelets), which were to shop at 10:15 to 10:25. At 10:15 we ran. At 10:25 we smiled, we got what we came for^^ Some of the pieces looked completely different in real life in comparison to the pictures online and in the commercials. Some of these differences were disappointing, some weren't at all. Me and my Chooes are now living happy ever after <3
